Doesn't time flies? If felt like only yesterday we were celebrating the start of the New Year and new car models like the Sonata and the HR-V and now we’re reaching the halfway point. We’ve seen the number of exciting car launches in the first half and now we’re counting down the five cars you should look forward to as we step into the second half of the year.

No.5
Renault Captur

While all Renault loving eyes are on the Qashqai-platformed Kadjar, our ears have picked up that Renault in Malaysia are planning to bring in the Captur. If you can’t imagine how it will look like just imagine the Clio but with higher ground clearance. We wonder how well the Captur will capture our crossover loving community.

No.4
Land Rover Discovery Sport

If you remember right, the Disco Sport’s launch is a huge thing over in the Continents, Land Rover even had a celebration for the first Sport that left the line last year! When we were all gathered around for Land Rover’s off-roading adventure we were introduced to the car and promised that they will be launching by this year.

No.3
BMW 2 Series Gran Tourer

Our editor was invited on a trip to Czech Republic to sample a taste of the 2GT and he seemed to be full of praise for it, so be sure to catch the write-up in the upcoming issue of #carmagmy. The Active Tourer version of the 2 Series has been well received in our country so how will the Gran Tourer sibling do? Our Editor has it on good authority that we will soon see the launch.

No.2
Ford Mustang

Everybody has been waiting for the launch of the Mustang even our UK counterparts had “long necks” when they finally got to test out the car. When Ford brought down the Mustang for a preview at the very artsy Publika they specifically added a promise that they will be launching the car by December this year.

No.1
Mazda CX-3

Another compact SUV will be hitting town. The attention it has received when Mazda teased us with the CX-3 earlier this year and the car is receiving the same amount of attention as its biggest competitor from Honda.
