Volvo’s new establishment

Have you heard? Volvo Car Malaysia has just cut the ribbons and open the doors to a whole new retail experience.

Volvo Car Malaysia is proud to introduce to all their fans an all new Volvo Retail Experience with the opening of a whole new showroom. The showroom is located in Menara MBMR and will replace the iconic Volvo showroom located along Federal Highway as the flagship of the bunch.

The new showroom is the first of the Malaysian showrooms to implement Volvo’s new retail experience which Volvo is calling VRE. The experience is based on Volvo’s global standard and will feature all of the latest products and services by the manufacturer. This is Volvo’s next step into establishing themselves as a luxury car brand in Malaysia.

Along with the new retail experience, the VRE will also see that Volvo owners will get an improved aftersales service experience as well. More importance is now placed on servicing customers than ever before and to help ensure that, Volvo has converted the old showroom along Federal Highway into a service area.

Volvo has invested more than RM10 Million on developing the new showroom in partnership with Federal Auto Holdings. It spans a total of 16,685 sq. ft. and features a lot of natural light that will stream through the large windows to give the showroom a warm and comfortable atmosphere for customers.

Inspired by chic Scandinavian design, the showroom has a living room concept featuring Scandinavian designed furniture. Owners will get to enjoy free Wi-Fi and delectable Swedish morsels from the bar.

“The Volvo Retail Experience is just one of our strategies to strengthen and close the gap with our competitors. As we continue to introduce products that are well-designed, luxurious and safe, we strive to extend the same feeling to our customers from the very moment they enter our retail environment. With this new showroom, we look forward to continually engage with our fans and win over new ones,” said, Lennart Stegland, Managing Director of Volvo Car Malaysia.

“The former showroom was an icon and a landmark in its own right but the establishment of this new Volvo Retail Experience showroom is necessary to keep the brand competitive. Albeit, it will still maintain the same sense of familiarity that our customers are accustomed to,” said Encik Aqil Ahmad Azizuddin, Chairman of Federal Auto Holdings Berhad.

It looks like Volvo is now ready to make their mark in the luxury car segment in our country. They’ve been planning this day for a while now, what with starting local assembly of the updated Volvo XC90 T8 here, expect to see more Volvo showrooms getting the revamp treatment.
