Smiles will be made with Porsche’s $18,000 donation to Make-A-Wish Foundation

The handsome donation will be used to bring smiles to the children this upcoming holiday season

To celebrate courage and strength this upcoming holiday season, Porsche Asia Pacific has donated $18,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation Singapore, a charity organisation that is dedicated in bringing the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions into reality. This generous donation will fund wish fulfilment for the foundation’s beneficiary this Christmas season.

“Porsche places a strong interest in supporting youth and young children, making their dream come true, a value that is aligned to Make-A-Wish Foundation’s vision and mission,” said Martin Limpert, Managing Director of Porsche Asia Pacific, who presented the cheque to Make-A-Wish Foundation at the Kallang Wave Mall, Singapore.

Also, making an appearance at the event was Singapore’s rising star, Joseph Schooling, whom three Make-A-Wish Foundation beneficiaries look up to as their role model and being fans of cars as well. Aside from being able to spend some time with their idol, the children were also taken for a ride around the Sports Hub area in a Porsche Cayenne which was driven by Schooling himself.

“I’ve been extremely fortunate in that my parents have been extremely supportive. They have also taught me the value of courage and a dare-to-dream attitude. In the same way, Porsche has always had the courage to push boundaries, and it has been a privilege to work alongside them to give back via the Make-A-Wish Foundation,” said the Singaporean Olympic gold medalist.
