Your four-door 918 Spyder is here

Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid does the century in 3.2-seconds

Fancied yourself one third of the holy trinity but the baby seat, groceries and dog won’t fit in the 918 Spyder? Porsche has you covered with the most powerful Panamera ever and keeping with their current green theme, it’ll be a plug-in hybrid.

Set for a Geneva debut, the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid packs 680 horsepower and 849Nm of torque from the combination of a 4.0-liter 550hp V8 and a 136hp electric motor juiced by a 14.1-kilowatt lithium-ion battery pack.

On pure electric motivation, the super sedan is capable of covering approximately 50km and with the lion’s share of the torque coming in early on, is capable of hitting the century mark in 3.2-seconds and will surge to a top speed of 309kph.

All-wheel drive is standard and links to the internal combustion engine + electric motor via an eight-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission.

Charging the batteries takes 12 hours on a 120V-10A plug but can be hastened to less than three hours with a 240V- 40A power outlet.

The Panamera is still a sedan nonetheless and the rear features some luxuries such as the 12.3-inch touchscreen with Porsche Communication Management. Completing the spec sheet include notables such as ceramic composite brakes, air suspension, Porsche Torque vectoring Plus and the Sport Chrono package.
