Worry no more about Kia's resale value

Naza Kia Malaysia starts the Value 5 plan that ensures a guaranteed value after 5 years.

A matter that often plagues car buyers’ minds while deciding on a new car is its resale value when the time comes to sell it. Kia is calling it the Guaranteed Future Value program, the first of its kind and it only applies if you trade in and upgrade to a new Kia car.

The programme kicks things off with the All-New Kia Sportage and the All-New Kia Sorento. Purchase of these models at any authorised Kia showroom within November 1st to December 31st 2016 will automatically entitle you to the Kia Value 5 program. 

The idea to cap the depreciation value of the car is a rather good one as people can be easily convinced otherwise if a car brand simply does not re-sell well even if it's a good buy now. An advanced fixed rate would ease buyer minds on not suffering too much of a loss in the long run.

Through the Kia Value 5 program, we want to create robust Kia used car value by guaranteeing the future value prescribed ahead, to customers who may want to upgrade to a new Kia model in five years. As the only mass model brand in Malaysia giving this opportunity to our customers, it is also the first ever Guaranteed Future Value program without any exclusive tie-up with financial institutions,” said Dato Samson Anand George, Group Chief Operating Officer, Automotive Group, Naza Corporation Holdings Sdn Bhd.
