Michelin conquers Sarawak

Michelin opens another Tyreplus outlet in Sibu

Michelin already has a Service Centre in East Malaysia, they also opened the first ever Micheline Truck Service Centre in 2008, now they are proud to cut the ribbon and open their doors to the first ever Tyreplus outlet to Sarawak.

Located in Sibu, the new Tyreplus outlet sits on 3256 square feet of land and had cost a total of RM2 million to build. Michelin has made sure to designed to offer customers with a comprehensive mix of high quality products and preventive maintenance services for all brands at a competitive price and in a pleasant environment.

The outlet is owned by Sarawakian Michelin distributor Fei Yue Tyres Sdn Bhd. This is not the first time Fei Yue Tyres and Michelin have collaborated as the company also operates the Michelin Service Centre and the Michelin Truck Service Centre.

Tyreplus is Michelin’s global retailing concept that operates a huge network of tyre retail stores. Not only do the outlets offer a wide variety of all major tyre brands, they also offer lubricants, batteries, suspensions, and braking system services all under one roof. Customers can also head to the Tyreplus stores to realign their cars, refill their air-conditioners and for nitrogen inflation services.

The opening of the Tyreplus outlet is one of Michelin’s push into expanding their products into the East Malaysian market. They hope that the Tyreplus outlet will help make the availability of Michelin tyres in the East Malaysian region as well.
