E-Class goes full range

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia introduces the last variant in the E-Class range

Mercedes-Benz is proud to announce that their E-Class range is now complete with the introduction of the E 300 AMG Line. The top of the range model is finally here after the official launch of the E-Class in June last year.

The top of the line E-Class is decorated with the dynamic AMG bodystyling complete with 19-inch AMG five-twin spoke light-alloy wheels. The wheels are connected to the AGILITY CONTROL suspensions that will allow drivers to adjust the car’s ride height. The E 300 is also fitted with enhanced Multibeam LED headlamps that illuminates the road with 84 individually activated high performance LEDs rather than 24.

For the interior, Mercedes-Benz has made sure to include all the hallmark AMG features like the multifunction sports steering wheel with flattened bottom section. You also get sports seats with horizontal quilting on the seat cushions. The sport seats also come with a sporty backrest contour to complete the look. Not to forget, Mercedes-Benz has also made sure to swap out the original pedals to AMG Sports Pedals to give you a sportier drive. The E 300 AMG is also equipped with a head-up display that will show key information to the driver without having to take their eyes off the road.

The E 300 doesn’t miss out on tech as well what with COMAND Online available as standard. The system offers up the best in infotainment, navigation and communication from the 12.3-inch high resolution media display. Drivers can now control the car via the Touch Controls installed on the steering wheel.

Other tech includes the inclusion of Parking Pilot with its 360-degree view. The feature makes use of three other cameras placed around the car in addition to the reverse camera to give you a complete view of the car while you’re parking. The car is also fitted out with a nine-channel Burmester surround sound system so everybody can enjoy the best in music whenever they are seated.

Under the bonnet lies the 2.0-litre inline-four engine that produces 245bhp at 5500rpm and 370Nm of torque at 4000rpm with a top speed reading of 250kph. The engine is mated to a 9G-TRONIC nine-speed automatic transmission. The E 300 has a combined fuel consumption of 6.3-litre/100km and emits 144g/km of CO2.

Mercedes-Benz has tagged the E 300 AMG Line with a price tag of RM458,888 on the road without insurance. Stated price is inclusive of six per cent GST.
