Order books are now open for the facelifted Suzuki Swift, what are the changes and how much does it cost?

Suzuki’s bestselling compact hatchback gets a number of quick updates and a new colour and variant altogether. First off, there are no changes to the 1.4-litre powertrain along with the usual host of safety features available for the out-going Suzuki Swift. All Swift variants will be running around with a brand new redesigned bumper and a number of variant specific refreshments.
Suzuki’s new variant is known as the GA, it is now the entry level variant for the Swift model taking the place of the GL. The Swift GA sports 15-inch steel rims as well as a repair kit and is only available in the colour Bayside Blue.
The Swift GL now carries all the features of the previous GLX model. The car will now sport side-body indicators and 16-inch alloy wheel rims compared to the previous 15-inch steel wheel with cap. The GL is available in all colours including the brand new Lagoon Turquoise available for the Swift.
The GLX gets the most upgrades out of all the variants. After donating the previous features to the GL, the GLX will now sport fog lamps embedded in the new bumper design with stylish LED lights and retractable side mirrors with indicators. Suzuki has also upgraded the 16-inch rims design and added a new touch screen audio system with navigation in the GLX.
Prices start from RM59,000 for the base variant GA, RM65,000 for the Swift GL and tops off at RM73,000 for the Swift GLX (all prices quoted are on-the-road with GST without insurance). Suzuki is offering a five-year warranty or 150,000km for all Swift owners.
