Nissan’s Safety Campaign comes to an end

Nissan's journey to spread safety comes to an end with a Safety Driving experience.

The Safety Campaign that Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd started in April in Legoland Johor has drawn to an end with a Safety Driving Experience that happened at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS).
The Nissan Safety Driving Experience is aimed at educating owners on proper and safe driving techniques, giving them the skills and tools to drive safely on the roads and to learn about the Nissan safety features in their vehicles.
60 Nissan owners participated in the Safety Driving Experience driving their own vehicles which included the Nissan Teana, X-Trail, Sylphy, Almera, Serena S-Hybrid, X-Gear, Grand Livina and Latio. They sat through a theory session that covers proper steering and seating positions and went through a practical course that includes a slalom course to understand the correct steering techniques and an exercise to maximise effective use of ABS as well as skid control and more.
“Road safety is important. As a car company, we are not only committed to ensure the latest safety technologies on our Nissan vehicle, but through the Safety Driving Experience, we hope that the knowledge and skills gained are beneficial for Nissan owners to be smarter and safer drivers on the road,” said Dato’ Dr. Ang Bon Beng, Executive Director of ETCM.
Nissan has also launched a new ownership rewards programme called NISCARE. The programme is developed especially for Nissan owners and members can enjoy a host of privileges with an annual fee of RM30++. For a limited time, NISCARE is also offering Legoland privileges to all who join the programme.
ETCM has received overwhelming responses for both the Kids Safety Carnival and Safety Driving Experience with a total of 1300 enthusiastic participants joining the programme.
