After a four-month good run, is it any wonder why Mercedes-Benz remains on top?

After a four-month good run, is it any wonder why Mercedes-Benz tops the charts once more?

Once again Mercedes-Benz Malaysia posted figures that are eye opening. The company have broken all of their sales record four months in a row. Their growth is tremendous, charting a 53% increase for the 1st half of 2015 compared to the 1st half of 2014. This puts a total of 5163 Mercedes-Benz vehicles on the road between January and July this year.

The numbers get even more interesting when the numbers are broken down into two groups, the C-, E- and S-Class, and the new compacts. The compacts sold 1348 units this year’s compared to 2014’s 1019, recording a 35% increase. The C-, E- and S-Class cars charted higher than the compacts – last year saw 2331 cars sold compared to this year’s 3787, a whopping 62% jump.
Here are more figures to digest:

A-Class
484 units sold in 2015

CLA-Class
439 units sold in 2015

GLA-Class
307 units sold in 2015

B-Class
122 units sold in 2015

C-Class
1104 units sold in 1H 2015, 38% increase compared to 1H 2014

E-Class

Roland Folger, President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Malaysia, in his final media briefing, said that a double shift have been implemented at the Pekan production plant in order to fulfill orders in a shorter time.

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia remains confident that they will hold the number one position come end 2015.
