Mercedes-Benz’s Petaling Jaya showroom gets a facelift

Cycle & Carriage Bintang re-opens their doors to the upgraded Autohaus PJ that costs RM7 million

Just as all cars go through changes over the years, so must the dealership that displays them. For one of Petaling Jaya’s iconic showrooms that line the Federal Highway, the Mercedes-Benz Cycle & Carriage Bintang Autohaus PJ, have just reopened their doors to a brand new look.

The change is necessary as the upgraded showroom now showcases Mercedes-Benz’s latest Corporate Identity that zooms into enhancing customers’ experience. The extensive refurbishment also takes into consideration all key aspects of the Mercedes-Benz Presentation System, which is the company’s extensive guide to showroom design. From the wood of the floor to the lights of the ceiling and even the worktables, all are specifically chosen to exude an aura of modern luxury. This is something you will find across all Mercedes-Benz dealerships be it in Malaysia or Germany.

That’s not to say Autohaus PJ does not have its own character. The well-lit lounge area features a vertical garden with real plants that’s said to have its own ecosystem. A small fish pond is placed at the base of the vertical garden that feeds natural fertilisers to the plants… you just have to see it to be amazed by the ingenuity of the concept.

In addition, this Cycle & Carriage Bintang PJ showroom also boasts digital touchscreens with multimedia presentations. 21 vehicles can be displayed on the showroom floor at any given time. The Autohaus PJ also houses that AMG Pit Lane display, which is the first of its kind Malaysia and unique to AMG.

The Autohaus PJ is the third Cycle & Carriage Bintang Mercedes-Benz showroom to receive the changes, the Batu Caves and Glenmarie dealerships were the first two. The Autohaus in Georgetown and TREC will follow suit within February and Cycle & Carriage will launch their 12th Autohaus in the country to serve the residents of Cheras. Over the next two years, Cycle & Carriage Bintang will be upgrading their other showrooms throughout Malaysia.
