Hot of the launch of the All-New C-Class, Mercedes-Benz has now added a new line to their C-Class. The C 250 variant can be given an AMG makeover should the buyer choose. Adding the new line to the existing AVANTGARDE and EXCLUSIVE lines already on offer gives buyers a wider range of choice of progressive design and equipment lines.

AMG in Mercedes terms meant a sportier and more commanding appearance that would give the C-Class dynamic character. Just like the other two lines that are already on offer the AMG that features the striking AMG design makes the C-Class look radically different.

The AMG line gives the car the AMG front apron in A-wing design with front splitter and A-wing trim strip in matt iridium silver, and three diffusor fins for the AMG rear and side sill panels. It also features 18in five spoke AMG alloy wheels and a sport suspension that lowers the car by 15mm with combines with a more direct steering ratio to make the car sportier.

Inside you will find a feature known as COMAND Online. It is an 8.4in screen with intuitive touchpad to control and display the system with DVD player, radio and 10 GB memory for compressed files audio and video files.

If you’ve read DC’s account about his drive with the C-Class in the September issue of CAR you would have been disappointed that the C-Class in Malaysia doesn’t come with the Burmester surround sound system, but fret not because with the AMG line you get the Burmesters experience.

Other than that the AMG line also gives you that panoramic sliding sunroof that automatically adjusts itself in three stages to suit the speed you are going. You get LED Intelligent Light System with Adaptive Highbeam Assist that adjusts itself so that other road users would not get blinded when you drive pass.

Part with RM339,888.00 (OTR without insurance) and you will get your C 250 (CBU) decked out with the AMG Line. Tempted?
