Mercedes-Benz takes over Kota Kinabalu

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia is glad to announce the opening of their latest Autohaus in Kota Kinabalu.

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia takes another step into expanding their reach in East Malaysia with the opening of their seventh Autohaus in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The new Autohaus is a partnership with authorised dealer Hap Seng Star Sdn Bhd.

The new Autohaus in Kota Kinabalu, known to MBM as HSS Kota Kinabalu, follows the opening of the HSS Miri earlier this year and represents the long-term expansion plan for Hap Seng Star to further enhance their reach to its customers in East Malaysia.

Housed on the ground floor of the newly launched Plaza Shell at 29, Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman, the Autohaus spans 7346 square feet. HSS has made sure to place the Autohaus in a strategic location where it is easily accessed by customers.
A total of 11 employees who have undergone specific training operate the Autohaus to provide the best customer experience. With an investment of RM2 million, HSS has also made sure that the Autohaus incorporates key aspects of the Mercedes-Benz Presentation System II (MPS II).

To match the new Autohaus, MBM has also refurbished the workshop in Inanam to accommodate growing after-sales service demands in Kota Kinabalu. The 24,000 square feet workshop is MPSII compliant and has the capacity to service 14 passenger cars and two commercial vehicles.

At present, Hap Seng Star has seven Mercedes-Benz Autohaus locations nationwide. With HSS Kota Kinabalu, HSS Kuching and HSS Miri in East Malaysia, Hap Seng Star is also present in Kinrara, Balakong, Jalan Sultan Ismail, and Jalan Ipoh in the Klang Valley.
