Order books are now open for the 2016 Veloster Turbo that will officially go on sale in mid-April this year at an asking price of RM150,000 (price is inclusive of GST but excludes insurance).

CAR Malaysia lists out what sets the Turbo apart from the other Veloster counterpart.
  • The Turbo is the first Hyundai to be fitted with a 1.6-litre T-GDI engine that features a high compression, twin-scroll turbocharger combined with the GDI System.
  • The T-GDI engine delivers a power output of 184bhp and 265Nm of torque and is mated to a performance-oriented seven-speed dual-clutch Automatic transmission (DCT).
  • Among the refreshments that the new Veloster sports is a sport-tuned engine intake and exhaust note, new front fascia, 18-inch alloy wheels, projector headlights with LED accents and LED rear lam.
  • Interior upgrades include sporty two-toned coloured seats.
  • Hyundai has introduced new exterior colours as well, including a limited edition Matte Grey.
